My name is Klaye, and I’m the creator of The Change System.
At its core, this work is about one question: How do we become more fully ourselves?
For most of my life, I’ve been fascinated by systems. Professionally, that curiosity led me into systems engineering, where I spent years studying how complex systems operate, how they adapt, how they fail, and what it takes to create meaningful change within them.

But over time, my attention shifted toward a different kind of system. The human experience. The mind, the nervous system, identity, behavior, and the invisible patterns that quietly shape our lives.
I became fascinated by the realization that much of what we call “who we are” is often a collection of inherited beliefs, unconscious habits, emotional conditioning, social expectations, and automatic reactions that have accumulated over a lifetime.
Many of us spend years trying to improve ourselves without ever questioning whether the version of ourselves we’re trying to improve was consciously chosen in the first place.
That realization led me deeper into mindfulness, meditation, psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and the study of human behavior. For nearly two decades, I’ve explored these ideas not just academically, but through direct experience and daily practice.
The more I learned, the more I came to believe that genuine change begins with awareness. Because we cannot change patterns we cannot see.
And we cannot become ourselves while living unconsciously through patterns that were handed to us by our families, cultures, environments, fears, or expectations.
Today, we live in a world that often rewards conformity more than individuality. We are constantly encouraged to identify with groups, labels, tribes, ideologies, and collective identities. While community is essential, there is a real danger in losing ourselves within it.
The goal of this work is not to help you fit into someone else’s definition of who you should be. The goal is to help you understand yourself deeply enough to discover who you actually are.
Because the greatest contribution any of us can make to the world is not becoming more like everyone else. It’s becoming more fully ourselves.
The Change System is a framework for understanding and transforming the patterns that shape our lives.
It draws from mindfulness, neuroscience, psychology, systems thinking, philosophy, and direct experience to help people develop greater awareness of the forces influencing their thoughts, emotions, decisions, and behaviors.
But this is not simply a system for self-improvement. It is a process of self-discovery.
A way of uncovering the beliefs, habits, identities, and assumptions that may no longer serve you and consciously choosing what comes next.
Through writing, courses, coaching, and conversation, The Change System explores how awareness creates freedom, how freedom creates choice, and how choice creates transformation.
While The Change System explores the inner landscape of identity and transformation, my creative work explores many of the same themes through a different lens.
I am also the creator of Room Noir, a contemporary editorial art project exploring beauty, desire, identity, power, sensuality and human expression through photography, film, and visual storytelling.
Although these projects appear different on the surface, they are connected by the same curiosity: what it means to be human. One explores the inner world, while the other explores the outer expression of that world.
Together they reflect a lifelong fascination with identity, creativity, self-expression, transformation, and the many ways we experience ourselves and one another.
Outside of my professional work, I share my life with my fiancée, Nina, who is a photographer and makeup artist with her brand Missfit Studios.
Together we are artists, creators, travelers, and entrepreneurs who believe that a meaningful life is something we actively create rather than passively inherit.
Some of my deepest inspiration comes from exploring different cultures, perspectives, ideas, and ways of living around the world. Travel continually reminds me that there are countless ways to experience life and that many of the limitations we accept as permanent are often learned rather than true.
That spirit of curiosity, exploration, creativity, and intentional living influences everything I create.
The Change System exists to help people develop the awareness necessary to step outside unconscious patterns and become active participants in their own lives. Because meaningful change doesn’t begin when we force ourselves to fit into a mold. It begins when we understand ourselves clearly enough to outgrow the ones we’ve been given.
There are a few ways to go deeper:
– Read the book: Change Happens Now is where the core ideas behind this work are laid out clearly. It’s a good place to start.
– Explore the courses: Practical, structured guides to working with your mind, building awareness, and creating real change from the inside out.
– Work one-on-one: If you’re ready for something more personal, coaching is available.
Whatever brings you here, I’m glad you’re here.
